The 49ers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Raheim Sanders fell into slot 189. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They will need Gregory to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Demetrius Knight Jr. slid further than he should have, and Round 3, Pick 11 is lovely value for the linebacker. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
