A costly weekend of dealing drags the Jets to a D+.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Jets did exactly that with Jaylon Hutchings in pick No. 257.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Wilson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The Jets clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
