The Packers let Wilson fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+. Somebody in No. 194 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Packers sat still while Johnny Wilson, the No. 126 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
