There is conviction, and then there is this. The Chiefs took Aaron Graves a full 35 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with tight end, quarterback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.
