The Chiefs torched the value chart for Gracen Halton, taking him 30 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C in the wash.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That Ioane pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

It nets out as a middle-of-the-pack haul that neither helps nor hurts much.
