The Chiefs' one glaring miss is quarterback, a need they left exactly as they found it. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They are betting Endries proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
