The Dolphins got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Dolphins did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

They are betting Robertson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. It is not that Everette is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That Thieneman pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
