Call it larceny. Jordan James sat on the board until pick 252, and the Dolphins did not need to be asked twice. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Winston Jr. pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher and tight end.

Reaching for Hairston left real value on the table behind him. The Dolphins clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
