A solid, sensible weekend for the Dolphins: B-. The Dolphins put a flag in the ground for Preston Stone, 131 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Slaughter. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
