When a board-topper like Omar Cooper Jr. slides to the 89th pick, you do not overthink it, and the Dolphins did not. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They will need Foster to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Spending an early pick on safety with edge rusher and running back open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Emmanuel McNeil-Warren and all.
