It is the swing that defines the weekend: Eric Gentry in pick 248, a good 108 spots before the room expected him.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Spending an early pick on cornerback with tight end and running back open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Scott at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
