The Dolphins let Cooper Jr. fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-. When a board-topper like Omar Cooper Jr. slides to pick 75, you do not overthink it, and the Dolphins did not. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They will answer for taking cornerback early while edge rusher, offensive lineman and other spots went begging.
The cost of the Brazzell II reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
