They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Jeff Caldwell, 135 picks early at the Round 3 slot. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

On value alone, McNeil-Warren makes the weekend a net positive. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

It is not that Wheatley is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
