Some hits, some head-scratchers, and a C+ for the Dolphins. The Marlin Klein pick is the one that will follow the Dolphins into the fall. They took him 87 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.
Thompson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.
Trent Sherfield gives the group a proven body among the projects.
