The real work happened on the phones. The Dolphins fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Leavitt pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

They will need Tiernan to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
