The Giants did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Jake Slaughter fell into slot 82. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
