The Bengals let Anderson fall into their laps, and walked away with a A-.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bengals came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

They banked enough surplus on Anderson to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
