Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Steelers were there to profit. Jake Golday, the No. 58 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 3, Pick 35.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
