Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
More right than wrong for the Ravens, and a B- to prove it.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the Ravens would have aced it. Zion Logue at the 250th overall pick is 40 spots clear of where he belonged. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Getting Bailey where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Adonai Mitchell
In the 30th pick they get a go-to option on the outside at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick62 Rnd2 Kingsley Suamataia
A reasonable price with a little left over, Kingsley Suamataia in slot 62. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick93 Rnd3 DJ James
DJ James at pick No. 93 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the cornerback. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick129 Rnd4 Justin Eboigbe
A wild overpay on Justin Eboigbe in Round 4, Pick 29, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick134 Rnd4 Cedric Gray
Value with a capital V on Cedric Gray in No. 134, a genuine coup. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick164 Rnd5 Roger Rosengarten
Roger Rosengarten in pick 164 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick228 Rnd7 Emani Bailey
You do not let a running back like Emani Bailey reach the 228th pick and blink. They did not. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick250 Rnd7 Zion Logue
Zion Logue at pick No. 250 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
