More right than wrong for the Packers, and a B- to prove it.

The Dont'e Thornton Jr. pick is the one that will follow the Packers into the fall. They took him 49 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The Cornelius pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
