There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Cardinals never got to the one that mattered most. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

However the rest shakes out, Newton at that price is a win they earned. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
