You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Drew Shelton in the 60th pick.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The back end got a real overhaul.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
