A franchise passer in Williams headlines a B- weekend for the Bears. Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Taylor-Demerson. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick1
Rnd1
Caleb Williams
In No. 1 they get a long-term answer under center. A real need, handled.
Pick4
Rnd1
Marvin Harrison Jr.
In slot 4 they get a go-to option on the outside at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick75
Rnd3
Adisa Isaac
Adisa Isaac in pick 75 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick122
Rnd4
Dadrion Taylor-Demerson
Dadrion Taylor-Demerson in Round 4, Pick 22 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
