Everything else got attention, and edge rusher got none. That is a strange way for the Chargers to leave a draft. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
McMillan at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
