The Cardinals clearly saw something nobody else did in Cody Simon, taking him 88 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That Pierce pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
