A franchise passer in Mendoza headlines a D+ weekend for the Dolphins.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Dolphins, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

The whole projection now runs through Fernando Mendoza; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The Taaffe pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher and running back still on the board.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. If Pavia pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

They banked enough surplus on Hill Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
