The Saints worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

Whoever sat across the table from the Saints should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

Hopper has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Justin Fields pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
