Larceny in Round 5, Pick 7 lands the Bears a D, Puni and all.

The phones were a trap the Bears kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. They banked enough surplus on Puni to cover a lot of smaller sins. Reaching for Foster left real value on the table behind him.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
