Nobody had Jordan Whittington this high, and it is not close. The Bears reached 31 spots to get him at pick 232. Put together, it is a D-.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Getting Simpson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
