Somebody took the Bears to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

They have staked the next five years on Caleb Williams, which is the only story that really matters here. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Every board in the league had Johnson lower, and that gap is the story. Jackson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
