When the story of this class is written, it opens with Braiden McGregor at the Round 4 slot, a reach of 75 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Whatever Jayden Daniels becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

On value alone, Thomas Jr. makes the weekend a net positive.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
