The Bears answered their biggest question with Williams. Grade: D.

The phones were a trap the Bears kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

They have staked the next five years on Caleb Williams, which is the only story that really matters here. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Reaching for Van Pran left real value on the table behind him.

The Davis value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
