The Lions won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: B. When the story of this class is written, it opens with Jordan Hall at Round 7, Pick 23, a reach of 48 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The Beck pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Lions clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
