The board owed the 49ers one, and it paid up: Tayvion Robinson, the No. 232 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 7 slot like a gift left on the doorstep.

They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
