The Bears spent real capital to be 78 picks early on Jalen Travis, and the board is going to hold them to it. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

The Watts steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

It is not that Watts is a bad player; it is that the Bears had louder needs to answer first.
