The Packers worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Packers did exactly that with Hayden Hatten in the 255th overall pick. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They will answer for taking linebacker early while edge rusher, quarterback and other spots went begging.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Jones falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
