The needs board said one thing and the Jaguars did another, using the 114th pick on Darius Robinson while linebacker, quarterback and other spots waited. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

Reaching for McGlothern left real value on the table behind him. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Clark falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
