Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Jaguars spent No. 58 on Sedrick Van Pran, a name most had 32 spots down the list.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
