The Jaguars ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The Van Pran pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. With linebacker and quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on DT-EDGE is the choice that costs them.
