The Jaguars checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

The Jaguars clearly saw something nobody else did in Drake Nugent, taking him 32 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
