There is conviction, and then there is this. The Cardinals took Aireontae Ersery a full 31 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. However the rest shakes out, Booker at that price is a win they earned. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
