The steal of the weekend belongs to the Giants and Smith: B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Tykee Smith at the Round 5 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game. The roster is better shaped than it was, with safety chief among the fixes.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
