If confidence were a draft strategy, the 49ers would have aced it. Gabe Jacas at Round 2, Pick 27 is 38 spots clear of where he belonged.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Jackson. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The 49ers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
