You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The 49ers did exactly that with Keylan Rutledge in pick No. 92. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The Scott pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
