When the story of this class is written, it opens with Braelon Allen at the 103rd overall pick, a reach of 52 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Hardy.

The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
