Larceny in No. 40 lands the Chiefs a B-, Sadiq and all.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Kenyon Sadiq tumbling to the Chiefs in the 40th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The cost of the Woods reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick9 Rnd1 Peter Woods
In slot 9 they get a premier pass rusher, reach and all.
Pick40 Rnd2 Kenyon Sadiq
Steal is underselling it; Kenyon Sadiq at the 40th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick74 Rnd3 Domonique Orange
Domonique Orange at the 74th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick109 Rnd4 Kaytron Allen
Kaytron Allen at pick 109 is money in the bank, a running back taken below his worth. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick146 Rnd5 Tanner Koziol
They took Tanner Koziol at par in Round 5, Pick 8, which is nothing to complain about. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick176 Rnd5 Charles Jagusah
By-the-book stuff, Charles Jagusah at the Round 5 slot squarely in line with his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
