A sensible, unshowy class lands the Chargers a B-.

The Chargers' one glaring miss is edge rusher, a need they left exactly as they found it.

The Wheatley pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They will need Corleone to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 2 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
