They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Ty Simpson is the Browns' quarterback, full stop.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. If Anderson II pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

That McDonald pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
