FOXY KNOXY DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks

FutureB+
The Seahawks cashed the board's mistake on Carter: B. The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Barrett Carter, the Round 6 slot, roughly 130 picks past where he belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
If Igbinosun pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Walter Nolen
In pick No. 32 they get a disruptive interior force, outstanding value to boot.
Pick50
Rnd2
Bradyn Swinson
They liked Bradyn Swinson enough to skip the value, taking him in No. 50. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick82
Rnd3
Dylan Fairchild
No edge and no loss on Dylan Fairchild in Round 3, Pick 18; it is a wash and a sensible one. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick96
Rnd3
Jake Majors
Jake Majors at the 96th pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick136
Rnd4
Sebastian Castro
They barely believed it either: Sebastian Castro still on the board at the 136th overall pick. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick171
Rnd5
Mason Taylor
Somehow Mason Taylor was still sitting there in pick 171, and they pounced on premier tight end value. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick183
Rnd6
Davison Igbinosun
Davison Igbinosun at the Round 6 slot is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick210
Rnd6
Barrett Carter
Barrett Carter in slot 210 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick234
Rnd7
Elijah Arroyo
Taking Elijah Arroyo in the 234th overall pick is close to grand larceny; a tight end that good had no business lasting this long. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
