Nobody else had Kalil Alexander anywhere near pick No. 208. The Patriots did, by 59 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. Thieneman falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
